Goals

Through participation in program activities and interaction with a volunteer mentor, participants will:

• Have a better understanding of pregnancy

• Develop positive parenting skills that will reduce the risk of child abuse or neglect

• Seek and achieve educational goals

• Be successful in employment

• Postpone additional pregnancies

• Make strides in becoming self-reliant through the development of enhanced life skills
