ABOUT MMP
The Missouri Mentoring Partnership of Cape Girardeau and Bollinger Counties is sponsored through the Community Caring Council of Cape Girardeau. We have been providing quality services to young parents since 1999.
The Missouri Mentoring Partnership (MMP) began as collaboration between the Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) and the Family Resource Center in St. Louis, and continues to be primarily funded through DSS. MMP operates in eleven counties, and each site must be sponsored by a non-profit agency incorporated within the State of Missouri.
MMP MISSION
MMP assists in preparing youth for personal success in employment, education, healthy lifestyles and self-sufficiency through mentored support.
MMP VISION
We envision a community where young parents have the support and confidence to successfully raise their children while completing their education and employment goals in order to become not just self-sufficient, but more productive members of society.
